I asked my new rheumatologist about the causes of brain fog and she told me that they don't really know what causes it since a MRI shows no changes in the brain, but is most likely due to inflammation some where in the body.

Epson,

We must not see the same rheumatologist at the clinic.  Mine said it could be fluctuating thyroid levels and that I would need to see my primary care if it continued.  Hmmm.  No mention of inflammation or Sjogrens related.

Wow, you guys!  So many of us with the same spacy problem.  I'm seeing my primary Dr. tomorrow for this & it will be interesting to see what she says.  I'll let you know.  Take care & xoxo :-*

Any and all of you could be writing about ME!  I have to have a routine or I forget ie, daily meds.  If I don't go back and make sure I've turned off the iron/curling iron, etc, I have to call back or I'm obsessed about it.  Too many times I've left dangerous things on.  Once I went to Oklahoma (overnight trip) and left a griddle on a burner (turned on).  Fortunately, it was on very low and didn't cause any harm.  The brain fog causes me to be paranoid about things.  I know how easily get distracted.
