appt with Lawyer tomorrow

Hello,
       I was denied for the second time with Disability. I called a Lawyer and got an apt. tomorrow morning. I was so surprised I got it so quick. and hes a good lawyer. I have a question for any one that has gone to a lawyer? Is there any questions I really need to address?  They said I only need to bring my denial papers. How long will this take. I can't even believe that I was denied again. I can't even see anything really good. I called the eye Dr. today about the eye study at John Hopkins and she said the new medicine should be in in a few weeks that she would call me. I can't wait but I have alot on my plate right now. I live with my son and daughter-in-law and Grandson we all want to get the house refinanced at a better rate. Our house payment is so high. and we have so much to do to get the house ready. I hope at least we can get the house payment down I am so broke its even hard to afford to go the the Dr's. and My meds are really expensive. Its hard living on only your husbands paycheck and not having a job. At least my kids have jobs. we split everything, and we are still having a hard time. Please let me know what questions to ask.

Do you have any idea why you were denied?   I went to a law firm that specialized in disability cases and was approved first time.   I was approved in about 6 months.

i am able to offer no advice a si am in the UK and dont know your system, im sorry you were refused again as if ppl didnt hav enough to deal with.

  just wanted to wish you the very best of luck with tomorrow and wish you all the best in your fight to get what should be rightfully yours without all this.And hope you get the house payment sorted

Theresa,  from what I have learned, Social Security takes cases from Law firms much more seriously as they know that a law firm won't take  you on unless they feel they have a case.  Also, this way all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed.   Good luck.

Howdy, Theresa, like the others I wish you good luck.  Going to a Lawyer is a good idea.  It may cost you a little money at first.  But in the long run it will be well worth it.  Do not be too disappointed that your claim was denied again.  All this really is, is a ploy to get you so frustrated that you just give up. 

I know of many people who have gone through what you are going through.  There was nothing wrong with their paperwork and still they were denied.  So like you they went to a lawyer.  Most of the time the lawyers provided the same paperwork, but it had their letter head on it.  Because of that it seems the claim go's through every time.

It doesn't have to cost you any money up front.  I went to disabilitygroup.com and they do no charge anything and only get a percentage of the first award check.   Please don't be afraid of using a disability law firm.
