This is NOT that I know of SJ related but thought maybe someone here may have heard or
seen something like this before. She has what almost looks like a rash and the only

way to describe it is red dots about the size of the end of your thumb, not raised, and
its on her back in a dot to dot paisley shape...I know it's weird...looks almost like she layed down

on a drawing and the ink soaked into her...but there is nothing in the home that looks
this way and no one is bingo dobering her...it doesn't wash off and the doctors say

it is a type of rash but do not know what it is. She has had a new formation come up on her
back since my daughter found this one ...any clues to this??

JenJen

Not sure, but it's good she is being followed by doctors.  For funny-looking rashes that they can't easily identify, they should be drawing lots of bloodwork to check for underlying abnormalities, including tests for inflammation.  Vasculities can present as bright red dots, or maybe larger dots.  Keep us posted!

JJ

Ok...they gave her something for an allergic reaction and decided to wait
and see if it went away...low and behold it did...It was just the most

strange thing I have ever seen...so ll is well I guess..but you would think
they would test her to find out what she is allergic to in an attempt to

keep it from happening again.....like I said it was strange, my daughter
sent me photos and the first thing I thought of was someone drew on her.

Thanks for the reply JenJen

JJ  ah good!!!

was going to say my son came out in this type of rash, got anti histamines and it never happened again and never did find out what set it off, other suggestion would have been ringworm , sometimes that looks similar

glad its gone and hopefuuly that will be the end of it

What is so wild about it is that it was from her arm pit all the way to her waist line
...if you can imagine a coloring

book page with a dot to dot in the shape of a paisley pattern...just odd..
Thanks again...guess I can laugh about it now.

Hi JJ,
Was your granddaughter wearing a new piece of clothing?  My grandson had this happen when he insisted he had to wear his new shirt to school.  My daughter had wanted to wash it first, but he wanted to wear it, so she let him.

He came home from school with this same type rash.  She took him right to the doctors and the doctor said it was probably the finishing on the shirt that caused an allergic reaction on him.

As with your granddaughter, they gave him anti histamines and it cleared right up.  Needless to say, all his clothes went through the wash before he wore them after that.

I asked her the same question and she said it was a shirt she has had for a year

and she always washes any new clothing due to her own allergies and uses

that dye free scent free detergent...They were at an outside birthday party and

I think she either had a reaction to maybe pollen or grass...they live in central

Texas so I'm sure spring is doing one of those famous jump starts...lol..

it was just so strange to see...my daughter has a terrible allergy to pollen.. I use

to have to put that eye cream in her lower lid when she was little..what a fight..

just think her daughter is going to have the same problems.

Thanks for the fedback on this...maybe this will help others in the future.
