After whining for 3yrs. about needing a better Rhuemy but not wanting to drive so far to get one I made an appt.I'm so nervous she won't be any better but I got in right away Jan.19 so if she isn't right for me I'll keep my local appt. in Feb. and try try again.I just have to stay well enough if she isn't right to continue looking. It's a crap shoot finding someone good.In this small area I can't get any referrals on who is good not even GP knew. She's part of Cleve.Clinic so all my previous specialists and tests are on file which helps alot.I'm so relieved to finally take a step in some direction anyway.

Ruby,

You know that I live only a few miles from you.  I see Dr. Alashkar at the Lorain branch of the Cleveland Clinic and really like her.  She spends a lot of time with you.  Is this by any chance the doctor you speak of?  You are fortunate to get in that quick.  I had to wait 3 months.  I, also, see an endocrinologist in the same building.  I've been very impressed with their doctors and care.

Good for you Ruby!  I hope that by having many of your physicians in one location, it will improve the care that you receive.

Anna,thank-you for posting your Drs. name.I thought about asking but didn't know about prying.I have an appt. with Dr.Tsai in Lorain probably in the same building as yours.I got her in a round about way and couldn't find any info on her.DH just called and called the Clinic and was able to find out her credentials and picture. It sounds like she's just what I'm looking for.I'm excited for the appt.I'm writing your Drs. name down just the same in case. Thanks so much.

Good, Ruby.  Let me know how you like it there.  It is so easy to get there which is another bonus.

Good luck Ruby, I'll be thinking of you on the 19th.  That's great that you got in so quick.  It might be a good sign, that this was meant to be.

Let us know how you make out.
