Hi everyone, can you help? I have been so sick again....nausea vomitting and having a miserable time trying to eat and the entire thing has got me worn out. Started this time oct 10/08 by the 16th i called for the Dr and she did galbladder, liver and kidney function tests. Thankfully they all come back fine but i am still sick! So i called back today for another appointment, I'm just to tired of this. I have a history (as many of us do) with bowel and stomach issues. I am wondering about illeus as this has happened once before last Christmas. It took forever to feel beter then too and it ended up my thyroid meds were changed and my losic for stomach acid was increased. I have terrible pain under my right rib around to my back. I also have terrible muscle cramping, my feet, hand and legs just stiffen and hurt! I have a syrup called lactulose for when things got backed up on me, I used it very little but this time i am using it more often 3 times in the last 2 weeks. I helped before but it doesn't seem to do much now. I bloat in my stomach real bad so much that my back, shoulders and neck hurts. Anybody have any ideas about this? Thanks Sandra

You may need to use the lactulose every day for a bit. A lot of our patients at work are on it every day and it helps. Lactulose is a good one for us sjoggies and i find it is helpful. It just might get thngs going for you. Also lactulose helps with the liver as well.

See what your doc says but it cant hurt.
