I don't know what it is, but I just cannot walk outside alone because I trip over the smallest things, or like today, i just fall off the sidewalk. Thank God  I feel on the grass because I have osteoporosis, and do not need any broken bones. I am a little sore but other wise OK. This just proved to my family that walking outside  is one less thing I can do by my self. I HATE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!

Collie, sure your not having a wee tipple before going out??  Joking apart tho'  having oesteoporosis is no joke, so are you using a stick , they can be useful in keeping ones balance.. I know people-- especially  younger people are not keen to use them, but they really should try one before condemning..  also have you mentioned this to your medicine man!   if not you    certainly should....    meanwhile be careful ,    Dolly

Collie,
Please talk to your doctor about these falls.  I too have OP and OA so I'm well familiar with the fear of falling.  I cannot walk walk on uneven ground without my cane.  I fought it for a long time, my pride kept getting in the way of good judgement.

Do you have a neurologist?  If so this would be the doctor to speak to about these falls and the imbalance problems you are having.

Please don't wait until the "next time" before checking it out.

Think I'll move a little closer to where you live - seems you keep falling for unbelievably gorgeous men ....  Seriously though, it is a real pain - literally - go and get it checked out before you do any more damage to yourself.
