Hi Navydad

I hope the steroids give you some relief and that the surgery will clear the infection.

Take care - Scottie  :)

pud, Welcome to the "yukky" club!!!! I am sure glad to have gotten myself a neti pot and the squeeze bottle irrigator by the same company. It cost money for the packets of powder to irrigate with, but for now I will adjust my budget to accommodate this expense. Down the road I will probably make my own powder from salt and soda. I think they pulverize it so that it dissolves faster.

navydad, Glad to hear you got the sinus cleaned out. It is about time that someone put you on some steroids. It will be interesting to see how much you improve. I hate to say this, but Sjogrens can be a pretty sinister disease all by itself. Lots of neuropathy problems can accompany Sjogrens and many doctors aren't even aware of this. Hope you feel better. Ask your doc about putting you on Plaquenil also to see how it helps. Remember that this drug takes around 6 months or so to kick in so the docs like to keep people on the Prednisone at the same time. The prednisone can be tapered down and off when the Plaquenil kicks in. Irish ;D
