I've had this for a few days, it gets set off when I use eye drops or if for some reason I close my eyes tightly.   It's irritating and embarrassing, though probably not as noticeable as it feels.  The affected eye is slightly watery.   Can this be a Sjogrens thing?

Dry eyes (MGD), nose, mouth, occasional labyrinthitis,  dry skin , mouth ulcers, constant but fluctuating fatigue, IBS.  Blood tests and Schirmers negative,no Sjogrens dx yet.   Omega 3 algal oil, multivitamins, Evolve eye drops, Xailin eye ointment,  moisturiser (Instituto Espanol 10% urea).

Eye lid twitching is usually a stress response. When I am super stressed and run down my left eyelid constantly twitches. If you google it, it will give you some info

Thank you Pudmott, and you're right, I too have had the eyelid twitch when I was especially tired or stressed.   However this time I'm not unusually tired or stressed, it's been happening over several days, and I have slight soreness around the eye and in the jaw.   Am wondering if it's related to the trigeminal nerve.   And I'm guessing Sjogrens can affect nerves all over the body.

I'll wait a few days and see if it goes away, if not I'll try to talk to my GP.   (Try being the operative word!   The NHS here being on its knees).
