Does this sound like fibro pain?

Hi,

I have started having stiffness in my upper back, neck and shoulders, but it feels muscular. I have some arthritis in my spine, but I haven't ever felt much from that overall and this feels different. The muscles that run up on my head near my temples hurt and it helps to massage them. I sometimes wake up and feel stiff with this pain, but other days I feel good, so makes no sense! Does this sound like fibro pain? I just want to figure it out to know how to feel better, thanks.

Sounds very similar to my fibro. I was diagnosed a few years ago. No joint pain - only muscles. I also have a lot of problems sleeping. This time when I brought it up to my doctor she decided to try me on Cyclobenzaprine to help with the muscles. I take one low dose every night and I notice my sleep is much improved. I hope you find some answers.

I wondered if a muscle relaxant would help, going to ask rheumatologist for a few nights trial and see what happens. Autoimmune stuff is crazy at times!
