The dryness of the eyes is not unusual. Happens depending on how the Sjogrens is doing. Can be worse or better. Also, the weather and the seasons make a huge difference. Times when furnaces or air conditioners are running can cause an increase in dryness of eyes plus nose and mouth.

Personal humidifiers work well during the dry times. Set one by your recliner or by your bed and you will have relief without getting too much humidity in the house. Especially in the summer as the A/C has to work so hard to take the higher humidity out. I got my humidifier at Menards many years ago but most people on here mention seeing them online and I would bet the price is less. Good luck. meirish

My mouth is extremely dry if I forget to put water in the little tank to my c/pap. At night it is a help to me. My eyes do get dry easily so I often use extra drops besides the prescription ones. I always keep creams, lotions, and oils for my skin.

For me, it depends a lot on how much i drink during the day.  I notice it in my eyes too.
I have also noticed I'm generally dryer since getting Pfizer shots.

Love the new format. But I can't find the button to start a new thread. Can someone help me?

I had started an anti depressant med due to an extremely bad experience. It caused bad dry mouth. Fortunately, I'm no longer depressed. I stopped that med. Omg. I still have the BAD dry mouth. Previously, I had been fortunate that my dry mouth was never super bad. I probably should post separately. Please advise. Thank you.

Thank you Linda. It doesn't seem to be there. I'm using my phone. I had something like this happen a long time ago elsewhere while using my phone (only). Was ok / different on my lap top. I'll check there later or within a few days. Fingers crossed I can start a thread.

Hello Nomad.

I just signed in with my cell phone. Near top of this forum, under the description are two buttons, left side "go down" and right side "user actions". Click user actions and choose new topic, the first one. Type in your subject etc. Hope this works for you.

Under user actions there are four things. The first one is "reply."
The last one is something like no alerts or emails.

"New topic" is not a choice.
WAIT!!!! Yay! I just did it again and "new topic" appeared.
Many thanks!!!! :)
