Oh Carolina!

I?m so sorry for this devastating news.  My husband has gone through weeks of radiation and chemo for an aggressive, stage 4, Gleason scale 10, prostate cancer.

I feel he is doing very well right now and he is taking Lupron injection every 4 months which is shrinking his cancer areas.  He did develop peripheral neuropathy from his strong chemo treatments, and he has some kidney damage from the toxic chemo agents.

We try to stay upbeat and positive and take it one day at a time.  We just came back from a Caribbean Cruise and we spent some time in Florida vacationing and visiting friends.  We feel so blessed to be able to do  this, and I hope we have many more positive opportunities in the future.

I have a wonderful chicken noodle soup recipe for while my husband was feeling sick during and after his chemo treatments.  He also looked forward to my chocolate chip cookies on bad days.  I tried to spoil him because chemo and radiation pretty much suck!

I recommend lots of TLC for you both at this difficult time.  Prayers and hugs coming your way!
