I had forgotten that with sjogrens we can have eyes that produce a lot of painful sand. A week ago I got a very bad cold. Every bone in my spine and every injury hurt. I have been using tones to treat symptoms. Yesterday I went to ER.  The tests were mostly negative. An IV is saline was used to hydrate me. I still could not eat last night. I spent the night removing grit from my eyes. This morning I checked the web and found out it was a sjogrens symptom.

Some times we have had this disease for so long we forget the symptoms. Or at least I did. Experiencing something strange? Check your symptoms. I guess it is time for me to put them I remission again.

That sounds more like the flu than a cold, Joe. :(

Plenty of hot drinks/soup might be best for a day or two.   Keep warm.
Dry eyes (MGD), nose, mouth, occasional labyrinthitis,  dry skin , mouth ulcers, constant but fluctuating fatigue, IBS.  Blood tests and Schirmers negative,no Sjogrens dx yet.   Omega 3 algal oil, multivitamins, Evolve eye drops, Xailin eye ointment,  moisturiser (Instituto Espanol 10% urea).

Labs showed, not flu. They also showed mild dehydration for kidney. Played tones for fibromyalgia and sjogrens make. Symptoms are winding down.
