Aspiration of knee- a question..

Never mind this topic has been discussed to death on here...

Why are you having the aspiration done?. I would think the aspiration would be any place, front, back, side, etc. A ganglion cyst would not be affected. They are more superficial. I had one on the top of my hand that I had removed. I seriously doubt there would be any issue with this. If you are concerned call your doctors nurse and talk to her. She should be able to give you some info or at least get the answer for you.  Good luck. Irish
