Oh no, our salivary stem cells are aging prematurely! And not responding to regeneration.... Another tip of the veil of our mysterious syndrome has been lifted...

If this is what it does to saliva producing glands, then I wonder if the same thing can be said for our poor parched eyes?

Thanks for posting, though in some ways I'd rather not know!

What a horrible word 'senescent' is! :'(
Dry eyes (MGD), nose, mouth, occasional labyrinthitis,  dry skin , mouth ulcers, constant but fluctuating fatigue, IBS.  Blood tests and Schirmers negative,no Sjogrens dx yet.   Omega 3 algal oil, multivitamins, Evolve eye drops, Xailin eye ointment,  moisturiser (Instituto Espanol 10% urea).
