Disability insurance question

Hi everyone, I haven?t been here for a while because I haven?t been feeling well.

  I have a question, if anyone can help me with some info, I?d appreciate it very much.
I just switched from full time to per diem at work so I have lost my short term and long term disability benefits,  I am looking into purchasing coverage personally. Does anyone know about this?  Anyone who has done this? Researching online has overwhelmed me and I already don?t feel well.
