Two or three part question/comment

1. My dryness, particular in my mouth at night, has been extra dry of late. I was at the store and I saw the cutest little diffuser. It is for essential oils. They were demonstrating it and it looks like a some sort of devise that puts moisture back into the air. Like a humidifier? I moved from an area of the state that was very wet to one that is fairly dry. We never ever ever would buy such a thing that would put moisture into the air.  You pour water into the pot, a few drops of oil and plug it in and out from the top comes a small amount of steam. It only lasts four hours though.

This morning (it may have been a coincidence, I'm not sure) my dryness is better. OMG! (Now my hair looks a little strange though).
Do humidifiers help with dry mouth typically?

2. Do areas of the country that are dry simply cause more dry mouth? Are summers typically worse than winter? The winter here will be a little more cold than where I am from. Should I expect more grief?  UGH.

Thank you.

I do not know what essential oil you are using. Some may help I do not remember. I have a personal humidify I will try soon.

Cold weather will remove the humidity from the air.

A traditional humidifier may help with dry air. I just moved to the East Coast, and the place we're renting has forced hot air for heat. Wouldn't be my first choice as it's going to make everything drier for me. So I've just bought a humidifier, to be prepared for when we have to turn the heat on.
