Starting Immuran

Hello all,

Now that I and my rheumy know that I have the enzyme needed to process Immuran I am going to start taking it this weekend. It's to reduce inflammation inside the lining of the joints in my hands and wrists, though I'm hopeful it will help with other areas of my body as well.

P.S. I'll have to have blood levels checked after two weeks to be sure there aren't any untoward impacts.
Raynauds, sero-negative RA, Primary SjS, osteopenia, degenerative disc disease, disc protrusions,stenosis, Carpal tunnel,  poly neuropathy, myoclonus, hiatal hernia, esophagitis, viral infection, Leukopenia. Restasis, Vitamin D, B12, Evoxac, Lanzoprezole, calcium acetaminophen.

I have been taking it for about a year. It really helps.The best thing it does is keep more inflammation and scarring awas from my lungs. I get blood tests every 4 weeks. In the beginning, my stomach was a little upset, but not bad and it went away.
