Oh dear, I think I caused a flare by reducing my Lexapro

HI, My husbands sister passed away a few weeks ago.  I didn't know her well, had really only been around her a handful of times in our married life though we did text frequently.  When she passed away, I did not cry.  I was horrified with myself.  I used to be the type of person who cried at every sad moving, sad books, even sad songs would bring tears to my eyes.  I know the SSRI's tend to do that, numb that part of you but this was really disturbing to me so I cut back on my dosage.  The good news is we were watching a movie last weekend and I shed a few tears at a sad part and somehow that felt right to me, the bad news is I think maybe reducing it has caused a flare.

The last couple of days my wrists, thumbs and ankles have hurt terribly, just really achy and  I have a feeling its because I cut back on this medicine.  Its been a long time since I had a flare like this, at least a year.  I always live with the dry eyes and dry skin and dry mouth and they are manageable but feeling like I'm 80 is not ok.

Its a real dilemna for me what to do.  My hubby wasn't upset with me at all about it and he understands its the drug but still....
I guess I didn't realize it was helping as much as it was until I cut back.

Hey, just a side question, didn't there used to be a treatment forum where people discussed treatments natural and drugs separated out?
