Hi, I've been reading for awhile, but never posted. I had been taking brand name Paquenil for about a year I guess, and last week, I started taking the Generic, I have been feeing so tired all week and feel aches in places that weren't aching before. would the change affect me that fast, and can that be the reason why I feel so much worse? How do you know where something different is coming from? Thanks for any replies.

You could be experiencing a flare or it could be the change in the brand vs generic, although I am not sure if the change would be that quick.  I was taking the generic brand for about 3 years and then all of a sudden, out of the blue, I had an allergic reaction to it - had hives so my rheumy gave me a prednisone burst and switched me to the brand name plaquenil and the rash went away.

I hope you can figure out what is causing the extra fatigue and aches and pains.

Sending positive thoughts your way.
