The lack of saliva and saliva that is not normal in content of enzymes, bacteria, etc. makes a huge difference in digestion and issues with the GI tract. Also, if you do some research you will find that the GI tract contains a very large amount of mucus producing cells plus lymph nodes and inflammatory issues are extremely common. The decrease in mucus and the thickening of the mucus produced in the colon and stomach, etc cause a lot of the constipation. Add in the decrease in the motion of the GI tract that propels the stool and we are all possible victims of the constipation.

It is so simple to understand and not so easy to fix!!! Irish
