Thanks ?

I have a lot of connective tissue pain, so massage leaves me in a lot of pain, regardless of the style of massage.

Sadly, the first time I discovered this, it was on a long weekend that was supposed to be a couples weekend. Instead, I ended up barely able to move!

I find a hot bath or tub more relaxing because of this.

Hey, Puzzled.  Just saw your post.  My husband tried to give me a massage when my neck was very inflammed from a Sjogren's flare.  It didn't make it worse, it just didn't work.  He prefers to work on me when I am not in a flare.  My husband, is a professional massage THERAPIST.  You want to make sure you have a therapist with a certification or license (depending on the U.S. State).  My husband is trained for helping people with autoimmune diseases such as RA and MS.
