Hi All,
I have been having severe Blepharitis(Meibomian Gland Dysfunction) and mild dry mouth since early April 2016.
I know that Acupuncture / Ayurveda work for some conditions where Modern Medicine doesn't.
Just curious if anyone here has positive/negative experience with either of these.

For both of the techniques you listed I would suggest you find some one that specializes in it. I have used a combination of tones for mumps and male or female testosterone. I have also used tones for dry eyes and dry mouth effectively. Tones to kill bacteria have helped also. Some of the tones can be found at www.chakraforce.com

You can click on the {tones} to play them for 3 minutes each in sequence. And you can click on the [reason] to learn how that tone helps. The page is well linked. There are tones for about 1700 ailments on the page. Hu.lda Clark's book "The Cure for All Diseases" provides the tones for killing a lot of parasites (bacteria, mold, worms, etc).

So glad to be on this forum!! After reading what all has been said, I decided to try acupuncture. And shock of all shock of all shocks; my insurance is covering it I started treatments in May and so far have been well pleased. My bowls movements are back to normal, my salivary glands are producing; however, the joint pain in my knees have not been relieved. The doctor has also prescribed traditional Chinese herbs. I do not know what ayurveda is. I will research that one. Good luck with yours.

Doris,
Ayurveda is tradition Hindu medicine. It typically involves using foods, herbs, yoga and meditation, so it's similar to traditional Chinese medicine in its approach!

I tried accupuncture for dry eyes, mouth and gastroparesis and unfortunately it did not help me.  I had.it done at Cleveland Clinic, a reputable setting.

My son had it done foe back pain and it did help.

I tried acupuncture as well, but it did nothing for me.  The acupuncturists are well credentialed, and I had visited them before for post surgery on one of my toes.  They were very helpful.

Where did your provider put the needles?  I told my providers that my glands were swollen, and they put a few needles on each side of my neck, to no avail.

How did you get your insurance to cover this procedure?  I am very curious.  Please share. I wonder if Medicare will cover this.

Thanks.

I am also thinking about doing this. One of my doctors suggested it and is looking to see if she can find a place that has sliding scale payments or student rates since I am a broke college student. If I can find a place that I can afford I figure it is worth a try. My doctor said she has seen people with AI diseases able to decrease their immunosuppressants thanks to acupuncture and it can also help reset my ANS, plus the worst that can happen is I spend an hour a week in a dark calm room focusing on self care.
