Every day I find more information that leads me to be 99% sure I have Sjogren's.
My right shoulder blade in the scapula from the mid back to under my arm pit hurts so bad today. But its odd because my pains move around almost everyday. The last two days my right sacrum was aching so bad. It seems it mostly visits one area at a time. My doctor informed me on my first appointment with the first minute of my exam that I am hypermobile. Total surprise to me, I'm really not that bendy.

Does anyone else with Sjogren's have this pain on their backs, and weird sensation in the arms? It feels like something is lightly touching my arm or moving inside. Not really a muscle spasms because its faint and slow. Its between my shoulder and my bicep. Right now its on my left arm. I do have many trigger points and wonder if its that developing more. I have felt it in other places but cant remember (shocker). I'm wondering if all of it is from being "hypermobile" or from Sjogren's. I also keep being led in my Google searches to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which I do have many of these symptoms, just not the obvious ones like stretchy skin or fragile skin and so forth.

I am not a doctor, so I cannot say.  However, when I did not know I had Sjogrens, my stress level caused me to have what you are describing.  It pretty much stopped when I got my diagnosis and calmed down.  Recently, I got stressed again and was coming down with infections in my sinuses and ears, and the same pain began again.  I would say muscles, but I am not a doctor.  For me, stress causes my muscles to act up.

My first symptom before being diagnosed with lupus was weird skin sensations. One that happened a couple of times was feeling like a strand of head hair was on my arm and needed to be brushed away, but when I looked there was no hair. The other was twice I felt very brief period of tingling on my back like red ants were biting me. Neither of those sensations have occurred again since before diagnoses more than 10 years ago.

Back pain can be attributed to a a variety of things and isn't necessarily a Sjogren's thing. Likewise with hypermobility.

Are you having any other symptoms that make you suspect you have Sjogren's?
