Tonight as I was moving my husband shrits from one side of dresser to the other side. As I was too a step and my legs gave way and I could not get up on my own. After calling for my husband to come here. When he came in i told to shut the door bc i did not want my daughter to see me that way. I told him what happen so he helped me up and my legs kept give way. I had to use my upper body straight to hold on to him he got me in bed and was checking me to see if I was or had a small stroke but I told it was not that. I told him I know my mom and cousin who both have lupus legs give with no warning. It has happened once before but lasted for a minute this time I started to have pains all over. I get my body is telling me that it is to stressed out after my week of bad news everyday this week I got bad worse news everyday. My sister in law who I care for was told Monday she still had cancer tuesday my uncles was set on fire by his gf and lost everything but the clothes on his back and his two trucks. and wed she was on the run from the cops for 6 hours with his 44 revolver she took and when cops found her after losing her twice she shoot herself with my uncle 44 and died. Thursdays was told the sister in law care was told she had a infaction that is killed by drug and she can't take it. And Friday my grandma called me and told me she had Bone cancer.
So I think it is stress making my sjogrens act up. What do u think

If you aren't having a flare you should be. My goodness, that is the worst week anyone could think of. I hope it settles down for you.

I think it would be wise for you to see your doctor. With all the stress you have had which is such a shock to your body, the doctor may want to put you on a taper dose of prednisone to get you over this leg weakness. You don't want to let this go as it may be hard to get your strength back. Our bodies can be so fussy in relation to stress. Let us know how you are getting along please. Good luck. Irish

I agree with Irish. Please see a doctor. Also I believe you should let your daughter know what has happened. My children get very upset when I keep them in the dark. You have had a tough stressful week. Please see your doctor.

Wow, juliechurch, sorry to hear of your bad news. Any one of those alone in one week could cause stress induced flare, let alone all of them. What a tough week.

I agree with prior posters about checking in with your doctor to see about getting through this rough patch.
