I take what Oz has to say with a grain of salt. I came across a video not long ago where he was purporting that someone else was using his name and credentials to promote inaccurate information.

No idea if that is true or not.

However, every time I hear the name OZ, I am reminded of the wizard of Oz. A movie I have never been able to sit through the entirety of, and to this date I can't fathom why so many people I've encountered watch that movie over and over again.

Just my opinion.

Dr. OZ has always seemed less of a physician and more of a medical TV tabloid hawking the latest
diet or anti aging fad. It blows my mind that he is supposed to be a cardiac surgeon.

To me, a doctor that shows up on TV wearing scrubs for this kind of show is all about..., well, "show". I feel bad for the people that watch him and believe every word he says.

I had the pleasure of taking care of his father's patients in the hospital I worked at. His Dad was an excellent thoracic surgeon and very well respected. He was very skilled at what he did, very compassionate to all of his patients and worked well with nurses and showed respect for them. Everyone loved him.

I often wonder what the elder Dr. OZ thinks of his son's side job. The son seems a bit "off" and lacking the integrity his father displayed. 

I have to admit that I LOVE the wizard of OZ. Watching it as a kid, I didn't get much out of it other than an entertaining story. Seeing it as an adult, I get fully the message of how we all believe we are flawed and fear keeps us from moving forward in life. The truth is, we really do have what we need right with us all the time and just need to go inward and find our strength. (please remind me of that the next time I am whining about something!)

The bad witch does still remind me of my sister and scares me ! LOL!
