I take benedryl to help me sleep. That's the "active" ingredient in Tylenol PM. My dentist is the one who suggested that I try it, and it works perfectly for me.

I take mirtazapine but at 7.5mg. I've Ben on various doses of that drug for 12 years. It helped me sleep at the lower doses. The higher I went the more anxious and less sleep I got. I'm talking 45 mg.

I was given Mirtazapin for sleep. The first night I took the pill I didn't sleep any better - which didn't surprise me, because it's the pain disturbing my sleep. Anyway, the next day I was going crazy! I had crazy anxiousness and depression and what else. So much so that it got me worried - until I realized it was from Mirtazapin. Haven't touched the stuff since. Maybe the side effects would get easier and go away, but it was so bad I'm not willing to take any more days like that!
