Recommended Doctors in Michigan

I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan and we have very few Rheumatologist. They won't even see you unless your ANA is positive. I really don't want to drive to the University of Michigan unless I have no other choice. Does anyone know of a doctor near Grand Rapids who treats symptoms? I am a Chef with an extremely dry mouth, cracked and irritated tongue. I can't taste acid or salt without being in pain. I am worried about losing my sense of taste.
Please help.

Kevin, until you find a rheumatologist, ask your family doctor to prescribe Evoxac for your symptoms of dry mouth.  Evoxac will help you and clear up the cracked tongue.  The link nger you are on it the better it works.

I do have a good primary care physician and I have an appointment next week. I will ask him to prescribe the medication you suggested.
