Very interesting.

Ayurveda is the traditional Indian medical system. Like Chinese medicine, it views the who body as a system and takes into account your personal constitution for prescribing various oil massages, herbal treatments, and yoga practices. In India, you chose a western or ayurvedic doctor--there are universities and hospitals for both. I have found ayurveda very helpful in the past, and will be going again as soon as I can arrange it (I have to go out of town, which isn't possible ATM).
