Just my luck..........my son's wedding is 5 days away and just came into a flare.........I'm miserable...headache, bones ache, just lethargic....I just made some chicken broth and drinking a lot of water. Other than taking meds and getting rest does anyone have a remedy to clear this up asap.  (I know to rest, rest, rest....but I am desperate!)

Oh no, how awful! Is there anything that your  Md can do to speed up recovery before the wedding?

It sounds like you are doing all the right things to help yourself. As you know there is no predicting how long a flare will last.

Sending support your way and hoping for a speedy recovery.

Oh no Diane54-that stinks - they seem to happen at the most inopportune times, don't they?

Sounds like you are doing the right things - does vitamin c ever help you feel a bit better?  Always check with your dr before starting any supplements or vitamins to be certain there are no adverse effects and no interactions with medications you are taking.

I know this is drastic and I hesitate to even suggest it, but how about a very short course of prednisone?  I am not an advocate for prednisone, but I do know it can make you feel so much better so quickly??!!!

I am sending healing thoughts and prayers and hoping that you can feel much better by your son's wedding.
