Hi,
I am planning my plan ::) of attack in case my rheumy visit doesn't panout on Sept 16th. I already have another appointment setup with another rheumy(referral from this forum) the same week.  But has anyone been to UW Health University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison,WI?

Hi Wisconsin41,

I live in Wauwatosa, a suburb of Milwaukee. My rheumatologist retired a year ago, and I am still "shopping":)

Although I am not familiar with UW's rheumatology dept. specifically, the medical school and med. services are highly regarded. I wish I could tell you something specific!

I have the Medical College of Wisconsin 10 min. away, but the rheum. I was very interested in seeing has now limited her practice to Lupus. Saw one of her colleagues & was not impressed.

It is hard & I wish you luck in your search!
