Broke and sick

I think every state has a program where your medical expenses are greatly reduced for hospital procedures if you are both broke and sick.

In Colorado, you have to document your medical expenses for the past calendar year, and you can't make too much money, but it is well worth making an appointment at your nearest hospital financial office and seeing if you qualify.
