Neuro app't today, starting Neurontin

After seeing my neurologist today, he agreed it sounded like I have nerve inflammation due to my lupus so he is putting me on the lowest dose of Neurontin for now. It's cleared by the kidneys and since my last labs showed kidney inflammation, I can't go any higher until we find out what's happening with the nephritis.

Good grief, this all gets so complicated  :P
SLE and SjS with PN. ANA >1:1280 speckled,
SS-A >8.0, RF positive. Botox for migraines, Clonazepam, Zoloft, Imitrex for migraines, CellCept 1000 mg, Plaquenil 200 mg, Restasis, Zofran for nausea, Gabapentin, Evoxac and Norco for pain.

I hope you get relief on it!  I have a rheumy appointment on Wednesday.  I think it is time for me to try it as I am tingling and numbness and burning feet.  It bothers me mostly at night.  Keep us posted!

I am right there with you folks. lol....I go tomorrow to see regular gp for nerve pain, numbness, tingling, vibrations in left arm, hand. Hope all of you get some help.
