Hi everyone,
I am so upset I am sick at my stomach. Last Jan I came down with Shingles. I now have Postherpetic Neuralgia. My GP finally gave me Horizant and it finally calmed down the nerves that wrap around my left side. We tried Neutontin first and it gave me a stomach upset.

My online pharmacy called me and they are unable to get the Horizant now due to a manufacturers delay. I called the manufacturer and they told me the same. If I miss one pill the pain comes right back. I am scared to death that I am going to run out of meds before they can send they out again.

Is anyone else having the same problem?
Or have another suggestion?

Thanks, love and Blessings
Harlin

Have you or your pharmacy called other pharmacies to see if they have any in stock?  I am sorry you are in this situation, how awful.  Have you called your doctor for suggestions?  Could you take the med differently to make it last longer?  Im not sure what else to tell you.  I hope they get more in soon for you!

I am soooo sorry. Does the manufacturer have a timeframe for shipment? CK

Shingles can be very painful. I found it not be much above my background pain levels. I got it after a child came to school with chicken pox. It was above my eye and I had to be careful to keep it out of my eye. I used my meditation and breathing to manage the pain. I hope it goes into remission for you soon.

Ask you doc about other meds to use to tide you over until your current med becomes available.   Have you tried Lyrica?
