Good luck with everything.. wishing you the best. Go be the best doc out there. You can do it. CK

Thank you so much! it means a lot. Many people have told me that I will never make it through college because of this illness.. but I plan on proving them wrong!!!

Hi McKorky,

First let me welcome you to the forum, since I've not done that, so "Welcome!"  ;)

I'm glad to hear you have a diagnosis; it really makes us feel validated in what we already know.  Sounds like you have a good doc to talk over things with.  That is so important to us all.

And best luck to you in school.  As a Buckeye myself, I think Ohio has some of the best medical schools in the country. I know you will prove them wrong.  You'll do great and I can see you becoming one of those wonderful doctors who understand their patients because you've been there!

I look forward to hearing more from you-please keep updating us.  Again, welcome.  We're glad to have you as part of our little troup who encourage and support one another through it all.  :)

Well don't let those people get you down! I ,for one, am pulling for you. I look forward to following your progress and will be proud when you graduate. I will tell you like I tell my children, there is nothing you cannot accomplish when you put your mind and determination behind it. Now go get what you want girl!CK

I agree with Melinda and CK, you show them what you are about. And it would be wonderful if you could become a Sjogren's specialist - in fact, maybe we should have a whipround to fund your studies :)

Glad you got a diagnosis.   I have always said if I know about it, I can deal with it.  It's the unknown that is always scary.

Remember, everyone is always here for support when you need it.  Hang it there!!
