I thought I'd share a little end of the world humor with you fellow Sjogrennies.

It is now 2:13 am on December 21, 2012. Welcome to your front row seat for the end of the world.  Please make yourself comfortable and know that the zombies will be with you shortly.  I promise not to eat you if I turn into a zombie but only because I probably won't have my dentures in when I get bitten because they are mostly a fashion accessory for me and I'm not sure how functional they are as teeth anyway.  I have trouble biting into a sandwich so chances are I couldn't do much harm with them if I was biting a person.  I've asked the dentist repeatedly for super sharp vampire teeth rather than pretty pearly whites but he doesn't seem to think that is a serious request.  If he'd ever seen me when I was young, hot and 26 all painted up in black in my goth days he might realize it most definitely is a serious request.  Yup that was me.  The girl with the blood red hair, lips, and nails, black fishnets, clothes, and eye makeup and totally awesome tramp shoes... Lol  But today I mostly wear fuzzy pjs and slipper booties.  So if you see the zombies coming and one of them looks like me... don't worry.  It'll be over soon unless I'm the zombie and I have to gum you to death.  LOL

I've decided to go with some friends BY CAR to the top of Mt. Mitchell today.  They wanted to hike... ha ha ha ha ha ha but I told them I was going to drive and now it looks like they decided that was a better idea too.  Enjoy your brains! By the way, if a zombie eats someone with brain fog is that like a diet meal?  <3 <3 <3 GG

Haha...I am not a zombie, I just feel like one...  :P

Enjoy your "hike"!  ;D

HA HA The park service closed the mountain due to high wind and snow.  But we went to the Folk art center and that was more fun and much warmer too.  I'm totally inspired now by the artisans. Amazing stuff.  Made me want to remember all the quilting my grandmother taught me.  Especially since apparently it's no long a shame to machine sew quilts.  LOL  I couldn't ever hand stitch like she did with my hands this way... but who knows after the new year I will check out quilting scraps.  GG
