Hi ladies,

My old foundation just isn't feeling right these days, and I am searching for a new one.  Any recommendations?

Of course I need something light, but for dry, sensitive skin.  And I have rosacea, so I would like something to conceal that somewhat too.

Thanks in advance for your help.  I just don't know where to start these days.  ;)

I have a very ruddy complexion, and I am always looking for a good foundation.  A few months ago, I found a foundation at the Clinque counter that was made specifically for counteracting redness.  I just love it.  I also have sensitive skin, and it does not make it burn like some do. Of course, it isn't cheap, but I do not wear foundation every day.  So, it lasts a while for me.  You could just go in for a free makeover, asking for that specific foundation, and then see if you like it.  That is what I did!  Good luck.

Edit: I just looked at the bottle.  It is called Redness Solutions by Clinique.

Ark Mom,

I'll do that.  Thanks for the suggestion.

;) Sorry I could not resist. I prefer reinforced fiber concrete. If it is a large building I think you should drill down into the bedrock with reinforced piles to hold the foundation stable. If the building is not that big then good footings are what I would recommend. ;)

If you're going to read that Isaac Asimov series, I would start with the first one written, "Foundation" and read the original trilogy, then go on to read the other four books rather than starting with "Prelude to Foundation" and reading them in chronological order.

Thank you, Joe, for making me laugh!

Carebear, I don't wear foundation myself, but my daughter uses Bare Minerals and she always looks lovely. There is a woman who's a senior adult in my church who also uses Bare Minerals and she always looks dewy and fresh.
