Hi everyone, I've been trying different things to help with the dry eyes, dry mouth, and sleeping through the night. I tried fish oil for several months, but nothing changed. I tried taking vitamin A, but no change. I drank a ton of water and it went right through me. I started drinking a huge glass of coconut water at night before bed and this has helped tremendously. I'm not sure why it works so well, but if there is anyone out there who seems to have the same type of symptoms at night, you might want to give it a try. It doesn't make the problem go away completely, but it's been helping me make it through the night till morning.

I read some stuff on the benefits of I coconut water a few years back.  It was not as it relates to SJS at the time since I had not been diagnosed then.  I didn't continue my reading as it was not readily available near me...or at least that I knew of.  However, I see it everywhere now.

I will have to go back and read up on it again.

Thank you for sharing and hope it onto use to help.  Keep us posted.

Virgin coconut oil helped my dry eyes and mouth tremendously.

Also, sea buckthorn oil alleviated my dry mouth too - but I could only take it for 10 days as the sea buckthorn oil started to give my tummy aches.

I hope the water helps for you.  I haven't tried coconut oil, but that sounds like a good idea. Plus, what a YUMMY medicine!!! The water has helped with my eyes and mouth, but my throat is still dry. The oil sounds perfect for that.

I'm not sure if the brand matters, but I've been drinking Naked Coconut Water (it has the lowest sugar I could find). If there is another brand that works, I'd like to know (Naked is difficult to find where I live). I tried VitaCoco, but it didn't help + it had a lot of sugar.

THANKS - I am going to give it a whirl. Why not? If it could take the edge off the horrible night-time dryness I'd be forever grateful.
