I was at the store yesterday and saw they got in this new milk..almond breeze. Well since dairy has so many problems associated with it I thought I will try it. I got the vanilla one and its yummy. It has no lactose no gluten no animal proteins no soy no cholesterol, its got vitamins and minerals and omega 3 because its almonds. So I recommend trying it if you cant have dairy, but dont if you cant have nuts  :-*

I like the almond, but then tried the coconut milk and like it even better!  also no lactose, cholesterol etc, etc.....So many good alternatives out there now!

I can't eat nuts because the bits tear up my mouth, but thanks for the reminder about almond milk! I love that stuff but I'd forgotten about it!

I have tried almond milk, but didnt care for it.  I don't know if they are all the same or not.  I didn't like the consistency if it.  It felt thick in my mouth.  I like rice milk better.  Glad the almond milk works for you.  Lactose intolerance is no fun.
