I would thank our vets for their service. WWII, Korea, Nam. Gulf, and Terrorism. Some were called peace keeping action but they still put their lives on the line. Some times the military did testing on our vets and left them with a variety of health issues. Many who served became walking wounded with no source of assistance. Some are homeless to this day.

On of our presidents when asked to support our returning vets suggest that they were not supposed to return they were supposed to die in war. Their returning just cost too much.

To all our vets living and dead, THANK YOU!

In the UK it is Remembrance Day.

I would like to thank all those who risk life and limb during conflict. In particular I would like to thank all the young people, like my own nephew Ben, who have been seriously injured during conflict, and are trying to get their lives back together.

Kathyx - please give Ben our thanks for his service, as his service came at a price for himself.  Hoping that Ben is doing well these days - I think of him often.

Thank you all veterans for your service to your country and the sacrifice you make in the name of peace.

Thanks Bucky. Ben is doing okay. He had further surgery last week to facilitate a good stump for his prosthetic legs. He is currently at home recovering. HIs sister is gtting married on the 24, so he is determined to be well enough to attend.

His little boy is two later this month, and I suspect Ben and Stacey will announce their wedding, once Kellie's wedding is over.

I'll keep you up to date - and send a link to some photos, if I can.

Thank you for thinking about Ben. I really appreciate your good wishes, and so do his mum and dad.
