Dear CMNK,

I'm so glad to hear that you were able to "get away" a bit with your husband.  And the fact that he is working with you to make your lives less stressful and better in the coming year is wonderful!  Sometimes we just need to make some changes that will help us.  I am convince that for the majority of us stress is a real factor in the way we feel overall.

A66ey,
Again, you have some very insightful words about grief and how we all deal with the challenges these illnesses of ours present to us.  It seems to be an ebb and flow, and as you mention, over time we come to a better understanding of ourselves.
Take care of yourselves, Ladies, and know we are all her for one another...thank goodness!

Glad to hear that you got away with your hubby. This needs to be done when possible. We always need to tough base with our spouses and significant others in order to prioritize and discuss the future with chronic illness.

We will feel like we are dying, but there are days when we think we will live and then we do too much and end up on the couch again. Just remember that you can always get hit by a bus at any time, so yes, every day that we live is a gift and a blessing.Good luck. IRish
