Just wondered if any of you have bought these. They are very expensive, but I've been told by people on the Raynaud's forum that they are good. The evening temperatures here in the north of England are around freezing this week, and it's sunny, but pretty cold during the day. I hate the cold :( and need some decent footwear for indoors at work. I'm office based, and my feet and legs get so cold.

Not heard of them in the states.  We get really cold here in the mid west winters with temps dropping well below zero much of the winters.  I have had the best results getting off of concrete floors.  I could not ever get warm feet in my last home built on a slab. Other than that there are arctic boots bought from Alaska on a trip to see my daughter.  They really work outside and inside I wear socks and slipperboots.  If I go out I wear thermals under my clothes.  There are many brands in the states that are lightweight for women and very helpful.   Good luck let us know if they work for you!

Thanks Jackie. I will let you know how I get on with them. My hubby works at a company called Damart. They sell thermals so, next time they have a sale day, I'll go and have a rummage. I'm just not cut out for the cold weather.

Hello, I live in Bristol, England, am waiting to see a third reumy on 5th of November, fingers crossed for a diagnosis or at least some medication after 7 years of being fobbed off :( .   I have 2 pairs of Celtic sheepskin boots, have had them 3 years or more, wear them without socks, summer, winter, best money I ever spent  :)   Jan

I gave up on the Celtic boots , as the sizing was weird, and I had to get them mail order. I settled for a pair of UGG boots. They were very expensive, but I have to have them. The sizing was mad again too - I normally take a size 4, and these are 6.5. The foot is a little on the long side, but I couldn't get my (not fat) legs into any smaller. I'm keeping them at work, as that is where I am coldest. My workmates always feel to warm there, but I seem to lose heat when I'm sitting still for any length of time.

I'm sitting at the computer now wearing my wonderful Ugg boots. They are an icon here in Australia. Ugg's won't win any fashion contests, but they are beautifully warm.

I've bought three pairs of Merrell Encore Ice clogs - sheepskin lined.  I wear them with socks to keep the lining clean.  They're very very comfortable and warm as well, with a heavy rubber sole.  They're only clogs, so they don't keep your ankles warm.  But wonderful nonetheless.

Aussie Mum, you are right - I look like a womble in them, but they have kept my feet and legs warn, and that was the goal.

Sooki, they sound good too.
