Sjogrens, UCTD, and subacute cutaneous lupus. Flu-like symptoms, mouth & nasal ulcers, itchy rash, high cholesterol, headache, earache, tinnitis, dizziness. Hangover-like nausea, especially in the a.m.
Plaquenil, Atabrine, DHEA, Aleve, Evoxac, Allegra/Benedryl, esomeprazole.

I bet you're right, A66eyroad!  Imagine how little sympathy was given to him or her.  There's no telling what a doctor would have recommended.

Wow, A66ey...makes one wonder, doesn't it?  Suppose anyone reading they died of "sore eyes" would scoff, but have they ever had painful eyes like some of us?  Doubtful...

I'm going to make a wild guess and say that person had keratitis. While it is usually not fatal it can be caused by sometimes-fatal infections like tuberculosis, syphillis, small pox, etc.

Either that or they viewed something so vile and horrific that it killed them...
