As many of you know, I spend every spare minute in my garden. It is the best form of therapy of all kinds for me. Here are pictures so far this year:

No major projects; my focus this year has been incorporating more and more veggies in among the flowers and herbs. We have had an extremely long period of dry sunny weather here in Seattle, so supplemental watering has been required, but none of the awful hot temperatures many of you have had.

Beautiful garden!  I wish I had a green thumb.  Do you do anything with the Hops?  I have never seen Hops before, just heard about it with brewing beer.  LOL.  I used to like to garden when I lived in the midwest, but Texas is just too hot.  I guess I need an indoor garden.

Thanks for sharing!

I do not have a green thumb but by injecting 375khz into a lay line nodal point, the plants produce well and grow bigger than they should. I have not been able to do this at our current home. The son has prevented me.

Your garden looks so lovely. I wish I could tolerate the sun better.

Yesterday I had to drive during the day. I had too much sun and almost crashed the car.

Genko - as always, thanks for sharing your lovely garden pictures with us.   :D

The front part of our house faces West, so the afternoon sun just fries everything.  Plus, the two cats take shortcuts to the porch and end up trampling my flowers.  :(  The backyard is too shady.  Can't win.   :-\

I'll just pretend I have a lovely garden through you!   ;D

Jealous here.  We have had a crazy hot dry summer here.  I tried some container gardening but it did not do very well.  Nothing like rain water.  Cannot complain though, most farmers are loosing all of their crops because of the harsh summer  :(  Thanks for sharing..it looks wonderful.

You are so gifted, and your gardens are beautiful.

Jackie, we have had so much rain in the north of England since spring that almost all my bedding plants and bulbs rotted in the ground. The world is certainly a strange place this year.

Thanks so much for sharing them with us!

What a gorgeous garden. You must have at least an acre of plants!!!

I used to have flowers but I could judge my health decline by how much worse my flower garder was each summer. Now there is none!!!

I am so glad that you are able to do this. Keep it up as long as you can. Irish

Genko,

Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden and the fantastic pictures you take of it!  It's absolutely gorgeous.  :)

I feel blessed that I've been able to do a little in our yard this year. It gives me a lot of joy.  I'm beginning to believe that perennials are definitely the way to go-if I get my husband to plant them, then I'm able to water them and pinch a few spent flowers.  And the next year, and after, you already have them there ready to go!

Your lilies and lavender are so pretty.  I love lavender and have never had good luck with it before. This year I bought one plant and it's blooming, so I'm thrilled.
Your pictures make me feel I'm transported to a beautiful place.  Thanks again. :)
