Think Today Was the Most Perfect Day Ever and it's Only 1:45 :)

MissyLouWho?

So I woke up feeling GOOD today.  I decided to get out in the garden with the kids and try to at least get one bed prepped.  We got the one almost half done and I was a heavy breathing light headed mess.  So I relaxed a bit and went slower.  I transplanted my runaway raspberries into a new bed (just about 15 little runners) and took an early lunch break.

Then hubby took me and the kids to the hidden beach and we played with crabs and turtles and found 'treasures'.  That place is like another world with the tidal pools and lots of levels of marsh where the mussels and crabs hide.  The kids collected millions of snails and hermit crabs, fiddler crabs and horseshoe crabs.  We rescued all the turtles we saw that were crossing the street so no one ran them over and killed them :).  Such a fun day.  Sunny but breezy, warm and just perfect.

I'm heading out to the garden again to finish the one bed and hopefully plant some asparagus beans or something.  And dig up the remaining blackberries that I missed before and transplant them into plastic bins so they stay contained  ::).

The kids are going to have a water balloon fight and then go crabbing off the back dock.  If every day was like this, I would be a very happy girl ;D

The rest of the day was just as heart filling!  Transplanted all my rogue blackberries into containers then watched a movie with the kiddos :)

One thing I forgot to mention was when we were at the beach we saw a baby red fox trotting along the reeds, right along the road!  It looked like it had no fear and no worries in the world.  The kids were so excited as was I.  We love wildlife.   ;D

LOL Ark Mom!  It was PERFECT.  Me and the kids watched a movie with popcorn all snuggled together on the couch under one big and then we all went to bed early.  It was great! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Missy, I was so hoping that your perfect day had a perfect ending!  I bet your kids will also remember and cherish what a great day they had with their mom.  Couch snuggle time heals everything!  Love from Arkansas!
