Does anyone else get excited about walking into the pharmacy? I do because I hope maybe they have something new that can help (non prescription of course). I feel like a kid in a toy store. Just wanted to see if I was the only one.

Hahaha! I so despise shopping that I very seldom go pick up my own medicine. My husband (who's retired) does all our running around.

But I can see how exciting it would be to think there's something new on the horizon.

That is kind of the feeling I get walking into a vitamin shop or book store. I go to the books first.

My pharmacy is a traditional pharmacy that has naturopaths on staff.
They also do compounding and have herbs, vitamins, natural products and cosmetics, plus chocolate too!!  So I love going to my pharmacy just to look around:-))

NOPE!! I'd much rather browse a health food store!! (They have higher quality supplements than a pharmacy would.) You don't want to be poisoning yourself with the junk in inferior quality supps.

JellyB that sounds great! Compounding can help reduce costs I have been told.

I'd go just for the chocolate cause pharmacies have the "good" stuff. Irish ;D

I love going to our local drug store, because they are all so kind and helpful to help us get the best prices we can, and will actually tell us about any type of card that might help with any cost.

although I am like Joe, that to turn me loose in a bookstore is dangerous. lol...
Oh, and good to see you Joe. :)

Such a funny thread! I love going to the pharmacy or health food stores looking for new things.   I just went to the city yesterday and that is what I did!!  Timely post  ;D
