I wouldn't take ANY supplement that doesn't disclose it's full ingredients (including amounts).

Natural calm has 350 mg magnesium per serving, which is 2 teaspoons of powder mixed in water. It's right on the label.  They suggest splitting the daily dose, taking some in AM, some in PM.  The label says optimal use is 3 teaspoons/day, but also says to take to bowel tolerance.

Three teaspoons seems like a lot! But everyone is different.
I take it daily, usually a rounded teaspoon in the AM.

I can't tolerate it. I would say that is due to the SjS for me. It's like acid to me. Anything effervescent is bad news for me.

I take Natural Calm from time to time and it agrees with me well.  It makes me very very drowsy about 20 mins after I take it.  I use it to go to sleep, with a little added benefit in the morning!  The one with calcium added seems a little harder on the system.  The one that's just magnesium, plus raspberry-lemon, feels about right.

I've started taking my synthroid before bed as I don't eat in the evenings and eat a lot in the mornings.  So I'm not sure how I would take the Mg at bedtime too; they're not compatible.  I have to rearrange something there, I think.

Miralax doesn't help me at all.  I think my internal dryness results in it just getting stuck.

Be aware that if you have are having any symptoms that could possibly be from myasthenia gravis that magnesium can add to muscle weakness. It really is adviseable to check with a doc regarding any OTC med that you take---even laxatives as they are still a drug whether touted as a "natural" product or not. Irish ;D

Oops! I meant to say that I talk Natural Calm in the evening and it probably does contribute drowsiness.
Initially, when I wanted "clean out" my system, I also took it in the AM.
But now that AM dose does seem necessary.

I like the raspberry lemon flavor.
I don't think it bothers my eyes. Just as dry as they ever were, but no dryer.
