I'm very sorry to know that Care has gone.I LIVE IN A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY and all my info about my illness has come from this site,NOT FROM DOCTORS as I have even told them what blood tests to prescribe to diagnose my sjongren's and they get angry because of that.I owe you people founders of this site and users my health, and maybe my life.My gratitude is endless.Thank you all.

(Copied from original location, I'm sorry the welcoming posts wound up ahead of the intro, but the order is dictated by the date of the post, and in this case, by the date the intro was copied to it's own thread)

Wow, welcome Trejonina!  Wishing you well.  I agree with you.....I just bought and read 3 Sjogrens books on Amazon but I felt like I already knew the material from reading many posts this site!  I don't post much but I do read all the posts and weigh everything out along with info from my doctors.  I feel much more in control of things now that I have more knowledge plus experience and it's a much better feeling than when I got diagnosed and felt lost!  Hope to hear from you soon.  Take care!

Hello everyone. In a nutshell,I'm following the antibiotic protocol introduced by Dr.Thomas MacPherson Brown, for my sjongrens.I've been taking 50 mg of minocycline (Minot) twice daily on Monday,Wed.,Friday, for a year and a half now.The information is in www.rheumatic.org;click Home where you'll find the protocol;and then this is very important:click in medical histories under each name which has sjongrens next to it,and you'll read the results.I do not take any inmmunosupressants whatsoever. The first months I had a herxheimer reaction, felt worse all over,so I LOWERED THE DOSE to 25mg twice daily.or 12 mg twice daily,as I felt. I also took the equivalent clyndamicin orally, not in IV.In this country you don't need a prescription to buy antibiotics,so I've been taking this on my own.Currently I'm switching to doxycicline because of the dizziness and sun sensitivity caused by minocycline. Also take multivitamins,Max Defense by natural wellness;flaxseed oil, aloe vera,noni,1000mg of vitamin C;Arcalion 200(sulbutiamine) by Servier laboratories France;lanzoprazol for acid reflux once or twice daily;collagen in pills; as sleeping aids1.5 mg of melatonin at night, valerian and passiflora. My ANA ,SSa and SSb were positive, also have dry eyes and mouth but that has slightly improved. Also have less brain fog. That's it.

Hi, Trejonina

I was reading your post and my mind was distracted to Minot, North Dakota, USA. They have a slogan "Why not Minot" I had to cut and paste your link to remove ";" The FAQ is interesting. Let us know how this works for you. It seems to fit my theory of nanobacteria, mycoplasma and spores causing mitochondria damage. http://www.chakraforce.com/Tonations.html has some healing sounds that you can add if you wish from electro-herbalism.
