We've been getting credit card offers for the daughter of our next door neighbor who moved over 2 years ago.  And they don't even have the city right but have the zip code plus 4 right so we get them.  I guess they didn't even know their own address when they lived next door.

I was insulted when I first received my "invitation" to join AARP, but that card has more than paid for itself! And I really do love the magazine -- even Sir Paul McCartney has graced its cover!   ::)

I got my first invitation to join AARP just after I turned 40.  I guess they thought that I was older than that since my husband was almost 50 at the time.  He didn't want to join but I did after I turned 50.  It seems like it could save some money and you can get more info about medicare supplements.

I just may buy one of those hand grippers for at work...my arthritic hands seem to have trouble nowadays with those water bottle tops. Right now, I have the dr. I work for or one of the "younger" gals twist the lid off.

It is funny, because I get all those things too. I use to wonder how they knew all about us, but the must have central lists going to help their businesses. lol....I hope I don't go to walmart tomorrow and see caskets in the middle isle.  :o

That will probably be the next thing Wal-Mart starts selling.  You can buy everything else there.

For those of you who DO have AARP, what are some of the advantages of having that versus the benefits I get as a AAA Member?  With that, I get discounts at places too.

Just wondering.
