Wicked angel

Hello. I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. As it says I am mom to 6 kids. I have COPD and SS. I know it is a struggle but so is life. We just have to make more decisions than most. I am happy this disease is going mainstream so maybe a cure or at least a life changer can be found.  I love this site. I come here when I am confused or feeling down. I only wish my small town had more resources for AI. But I am up for the challenge well to tell the truth Im taking this lying  down.   :-*  again thank you for it all. ;D

Hi Wicked Angel,

Let me also welcome you to the SJS World and family!  I'm so glad that you've found this board as warm and as inviting as I have all these years.

Please continue to search the board for answers to your questions, and always remember, if you can't find it by using the search engine, by all means ask away as there is usually someone about that might be able to help.

Again, welcome!

Take care yourself now -

Patze

Welcome.
My mother was from a small town in western Iowa and I have tons of cousins in the little towns around there.  I call myself a country gal spoiled by the city. I am just too used to the city conveniences: like not having to drive 15 miles to eat out somewhere on Sunday, etc. Of course me with the SJS wouldn't work there cause it would be at least 30-45 miles to see a specialist or get any specilized blood tests or procedures done.

You will find a lot of information here and a bunch of just great folks. WELCOME!

Welcome to the SJS forum.  If you have questions just ask and someone will either know the answer or know where to find it.  This is a very hard disease to have and with 6 children I don't know how you do.  My son is 34 and my granddaughter is 9 and I have a hard time being there for them when needed.
Primary SJS, dRTA, Osteroporis, OAB, stage 3 kidney disease, hypothyroid and high blood pressure.  Medicine I take are plaquenil, bicarb, prolia, synthroid, toprol and amolipine, citracal and vitamin D.  I use Arex and Azasite and Prolia.  I also have Reynaud's and osteoarthris of the toes

Welcome Wicked Angel, I am glad you have come to join us, but sorry you have to deal with this wicked sjogren's.

It is as you said, a good place to come, and know you don't have to feel confused or alone.

Each day is a blessing we all have, and we will continue to boost each other up even in spite of our pain, tiredness, office visits, and many tests.

Have a good week. Thank you for coming to share with us.
