Dentures...

Hope no-one is offended, but, as a female denture wearer, this made my laugh:)



A Pastor goes to the dentist for a set of false teeth. 

The first Sunday after he gets his new teeth, he talks for only eight minutes. 

The second Sunday, he talks for only ten minutes.

The following Sunday, he talks ... for 2 hours and 48 minutes.

... The congregation had to mob him to get him down from the pulpit and they

asked him what happened.

The Pastor explains the first Sunday his gums hurt so bad he couldn't

talk for more than 8 minutes. 

The second Sunday his gums hurt too much to talk for more than 10 minutes.


But, the third Sunday, he put his wife's teeth in by mistake



and he couldn't shut up...

I have them (just top though)  I started with a partial at 22yrs old. I held up a good fight until about 37yrs old when I had the rest done... I do not use anything to hold them in. I think that would drive me insane!!!!!! I have learned to keep them in on my own. Usually my mouth is dry enough that helps them stick lol And because my mouth is always so darn dry I'm constantly moving them around to try and get some spit moving around 

With all that said, I am glad my teeth are gone. It's nice to have that pain out of the way (I have enough issues!!!). It didn't matter what I did they just kept getting abscessed and breaking off

Howdy all, I am a new Denture wearer.   I just saw my dentist today, for my one week adjustment.   He put a permanent cushioning agent on my dentures.  Talk about a difference.  When I walked in to his office, my dentures hurt like the blazes.  When I walked out I had a burger and chips for lunch.  Wow.  I so far think getting Dentures is a good Idea.   In the long run, having dentures will save on dental bills.  Plus I got rid of all the mercury and metal in my mouth.
